Instructions for Enabling Cookies
To earn CME/CE credit you will need to have cookies enabled in your browser.
Desktop
- Microsoft Edge
- In the top right, click the three-dot "More Actions" button
- Click "Settings," then scroll down to "Advanced Settings" and click "View Advanced Settings"
- Scroll down to "Cookies," and select "Don’t block cookies"
- Close the panel slide out
- Google Chrome
- In the top right, click the dotted menu icon
- Click "Settings," then scroll to the bottom and click "Advanced"
- In the "Privacy and Security" section, click "Content settings"
- Click on the "Cookies" section to change your settings:
- Turn on "Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)"
- Turn off "Block third-party cookies"
- Close the opened tab
- Mozilla Firefox
- In the top right, click the menu icon with three horizontal lines
- Click "Options"
- On the left side, click "Privacy & Security"
- Under the "History" section, change the dropdown menu option to "Use custom settings for history"
- Under the "Cookies and Site Data" section, click the option to "Accept cookies and site data from websites (recommended)"
- Change the dropdown menu option for "Accept third-party cookies" to "Always"
- Close the opened tab
- Safari (MacOS)
- In the top operating system bar, click "Safari," and select "Preferences"
- Select the "Privacy" tab
- Under "Cookies and website data," uncheck "Block all cookies"
- Close the opened tab
Mobile
- Android - Google Chrome
- In the top right, tap on the dotted menu icon
- Select "Settings," then scroll to the bottom and select "Site settings"
- Select "Cookies"
- Turn on "Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)"
- Check the box to "Allow third-party cookies"
- Click the home button
- Apple - Safari
- On the home screen, go to "Settings," then select "Safari"
- Turn off "Block All Cookies"
- Exit "Settings"
Security & Firewall Instructions
For difficulties with downloading or viewing files or navigating the site, check the following internet security and personal firewall settings.
Desktop
- Microsoft Edge
- In the top right, click the three-dot "More Actions" button
- Click "Settings," then scroll down to "Advanced Settings" and click "View Advanced Settings"
- At the top, turn off "Block pop-ups"
- Close the panel slide out
- Google Chrome
- In the top right, click the dotted menu icon
- Click "Settings," then scroll to the bottom and click "Advanced"
- Scroll to the "System" section, and click "Open proxy settings"
- Select the "Security" tab at the top of the window
- Select "Trusted sites" in the rectangular box, and click the button called "Sites" underneath the box
- Paste the URL for the website you would like to add into the field for "Add this website to the zone"
- Make sure the checkbox at the bottom, "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone," is unchecked
- Select "Add," then click the "Close" button to close the pop-up window and click the "OK" button
- Close the opened tab
- Mozilla Firefox
- In the top right, click the menu icon with three horizontal lines
- Click "Options"
- On left side, click "Privacy & Security"
- Under the "Permissions" section, uncheck the box "Block pop-up windows"
- Close the opened tab
- Safari
- In the top operating system bar, click "Safari," and select "Preferences"
- Click the "Security" tab
- Uncheck "Block pop-up windows"
- Close the opened tab
Mobile
- Android - Google Chrome
- In the top right, tap on the dotted menu icon
- Select "Settings," then scroll to the bottom and select "Site settings"
- Select "Pop-ups"
- Slide the "Block sites from showing pop-ups (recommended)" button to the on/blue position so that it reads "Allowed"
- Press the home button
- Apple - Safari
- On the home screen, go to "Settings" and select "Safari"
- Turn off "Block Pop-Ups"
- Exit "Settings"
